Two guys. Are they flirting or crushing?

i've experienced the same thing with two guys, and from my experience, the first guy doesnt like you nor doesnt hate you, and is only doing that sorta thing to you because for him it's a fun thing to do. he gets some enjoyment out of it. and the reason he doesnt want to come across as an idiot is because no guy likes it when a girl is smarter than them, so they try to make up excuses. as for the second guy, from my experience it seems like he really does like you, though is too afraid to show it, probably because he doesnt think you like him back, and feels really embarred about the incident with the notes because it would have got him thinking that you think that he likes you, and therefore doesnt know how to act when he's around you.
