Craig Mabbitt and the Word Alive...?

i heard this demo from the word alive; Casanova Rodeo; but when i heard the album version; it didnt sound like Craig Mabbitt at all. I knew from the moment I heard the singer in the demo it was Craig; but in the album 'Empire EP'; is it Craig Mabbitt; or no ? Because I know Craig's voice and that's not him. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
