Can someone explain to me?

So I have been having extreme pain in my stomach for two months. I got a scope done today, and its just red from throwing up so much. I can't really hold any food down. I was talking to my mom, who is a registered nurse and she said its sounds more like gall stones in my gall bladder. I have to get an ultra sound next week to see if thats what it is. If it is gall stones will I have to get my gall bladder removed? what will happen? Can anyone explain to me the procedure or what will and is going to happen?
