I'm getting my first tattoo! Is this a good spot to get it?

NO RUDE ANSWERS PLEASE! It seems that everytime somone asks a question about tattoos they get rude answers. I have been wanting a tattoo since I was 18. I'm 25 now and still want the same thing I did back then, so I know this is the right choice for me. I am getting a sword that I found a picture of years ago and still have, and I want it right in the middle of my back going up and down. I am pretty good with pain, like I have my tongue pierced (which never hurt at all) My belly on pierced (which really hurt) and I accept the fact that it will be painful. I'm wondering if maybe I should reconsider wher I get it though. My problem is that I am really skinny, and the place where I want it, basically my spine, is really boney. So, i'm just a little scared that it will be rediculously painful or maybe too difficult to do it. I don't know, I'm just wondering if anyone can give their thoughts...as long as they're not too mean. Thanks!
