Is Halo Cyberpunk?

Mt friend keeps on saying its clified as cyberpunk.I tried telling him it's sci fi,but he won't listen.We had a lengthy discussion about this while blasting the crap out of each other.We asked our video game addict friend who had legendary done on solo within a day after release.He just said "its future".We promptly splattered him with ghosts for a while.
