So let me get this straight....?

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and died for our sins, but then God or Jesus himself or whoever just resurrected him? Seems like cheating to me since Jesus really didn't die, So really God didn't give his only son right? The Christian logic would be.... what... It doesn't matter? or what. Your thoughts please.
