I was given a good oppurtunity, should I take it?

My school is giving away scholarships for people who want to go to Musical Theatre School, and I'm a great singer, I've taken lessons, but it comes with a degree, and I don't want to get the degree and not put it to good use, since I would not want to be on broadway, I don't want to be famous, bottom line I don't want music to be my career, I'd rather be a federal criminal prosecutor.
