Does anyone find the government's attempt to limit CEO bonuses to be a dangerous precedent?

I find giving CEOs and CFOs who mismanaged corporations to the point of fraud a "can't face prosecution card" a very dangerous precedent. Lie cheat and steal and get a bonus? I don't think so.
