Can I Take My Earrings Out? READ!?

Okay, I pierced my ears 2 weeks ago, and I wanted to wear a pair of hypoallergenic earrings for approx. an hour for a special occasion. The special occasion is a week from now, so by then I'd be at the 3 week midway point. The earrings are not studs or a dangly earrings, just a (not heavy at all) pair of hoops. Anyways, the back of the earring is not flat, or pointy; it's round. Anyway, can I do this? Help!
