Are these Executive/Job Placement Firms for real?

yes most are real companies -- now if they will help you find a job is different story -- i know at one time this fortune 500 company i worked for would use such a firm but they also would advertise the job elsewhere hoping that it could be filled without costing the employee anything!!!
