It's Usually THe COnservatives that call the Liberals FLip-FLoppers, correct?

Flip flopping on issues is a non-partisan trait found in politicians. Leaders do no flip-flop on their beliefs. Politicians, by definition can not be leaders because they pander to retain their position. Leaders by definition can not be politicians because they do what's right for the Republic regardless of the effect on their re-election. Those in government who want to increase it's size and power (both sides of the aisle) are giddy at the harsh rhetoric being tossed about. People have been so focused on their party induced hatred of the other for so many years (I believe since the Civil War) that we have let the government in general (again, both sides of the aisle) impose itself on one freedom after another. "Those who would give up a little freedom for a little safety (economic or physical), deserve neither freedom nor safety and will lose both". Benjamin Franklin
